Having great technical skills will enable you to deliver world-class work, however having great business skills make you capable of LEADING a team that can deliver world-class work at scale.
The Sedulo Accelerator Scheme (SAS) is our two-year leadership development programme designed to equip a small group of our high performers with a variety of business skills, including emotional intelligence, critical decision-making, problem solving through creativity and the traits of a world-class leader. The Scheme delivers this through:
- Tailored bi-monthly development sessions delivered by a renowned external leadership trainer.
- External speaker sessions sandwiched in between development days delivered by the best in business, sport and more, to enable our cohort to learn from real life journeys from the best in their fields.
- Assigning each of our cohort with BOTH an internal and external mentor. All external mentors are esteemed business leaders and specialists in their own field, providing mentees with access to invaluable real life business insights and experience.
- Specialist projects to own through the SAS Forum, giving our cohort the opportunity to practice and demonstrate the new skills being picked up from the Scheme on a number of business change projects, with the support of Sedulo’s senior management team.
This year the Sedulo Accelerator Scheme is proud to work with inspirational speakers including sporting stars Kevin Sinfield and Jamie Jones-Buchanan, as well as some of the UK’s fastest growing entrepreneurs from the worlds of recruitment, leisure, law and more.

Because of this, entry onto the SAS programme is invitation-only and based on strict criteria, including individuals having team management responsibility within their roles, the successful completion of their professional qualification route and being classed as a High Performer within our talent mapping.
