The category was sponsored by Sedulo with Managing Director, Cathryn Wright, handing out the awards to Carragher and Pinnock on the evening.

Of the night and winners, Wright said:

“It’s a huge honour for us to be invited to be a part of the Burberry British Diversity Awards and the awards themselves a richly deserved by Leigh-Anne and Jamie.

Celebrating work like this is vital for inclusion and, in particular, we’ve seen firsthand the work that the Football For Change campaign has done over the past year for social mobility in our role as sponsor for that.

Well done to all of the winners and those shortlisted on the night.”
