Catherine McKenna

Catherine is the Head of Energy Tax at Sedulo, managing a diverse portfolio of energy-intensive clients.

Her primary focus is on developing strategies to enhance profitability and mitigate the impact of rising energy costs on companies significantly affected by these changes. She accomplishes this by leveraging available tax exemptions, reductions, compensations, and grants.

Catherine holds a degree in Earth and Planetary Science from the University of Manchester. She is passionate about supporting UK companies on their green energy transition journey whilst reducing costs. By helping our clients to access government funding, she believes companies are better positioned to invest in energy-efficient processes and machinery for the future.

Catherine has over seven years of experience in Energy Tax relief, gaining valuable experience at both large specialist firms and accountancy practices. Before joining Sedulo, Catherine worked with some of the UK’s largest businesses, successfully securing compliant energy cost savings.
