From the streets of Manchester to the MOBO’S, Crumpsall born grime artist Bugzy Malone is smashing his way through the urban music scene.

Going back to where it all began at the young age of 17, Bugzy would freestyle to friends’ phones as they played music. This grew as a passion, before he took the decision to take his music seriously as a career.

With exposure vast growing and Youtube views hitting the millions this soon led to his first performance on BBC 1EXTRA. From then on, the onlyway was up. Bugzy’s success excelled from a YouTube channel to his single playing across all major UK radio stations.

Wanting to make a difference with his new-found fame and exposure, Bugzy set up his own record label, Ill Gotton Records, encouraging Manchester-based musicians to break into the industry. This, alongside releasing a clothing range in collaboration with sportwear brand Supply and Demand, proved Bugzy to be quite the entrepreneur.

Being the first grime artist from the North to receive commercial success, it comes as no surprise that Bugzy’s debut album, entitled ‘King of The North’ has sailed straight into the charts with his UK tour also selling out. Leading Manchester grime music scene onto a global scale, Bugzy has a list of MOBO Awards under his belt with this year’s nomination coming in as the most
impressive, ‘Best Male Act’.

With client success stories like this, Sedulo are incredibly motivated to be part of it and proud to represent such raw local talent.
