Managing PartnerSimon O’Brien leads Sedulo’s Birmingham office as Managing Partner, bringing over 25 years of experience in advising and supporting ambitious businesses across the UK and internationally.
Prior to joining Sedulo, Simon was a partner at PwC, where he spent a quarter of a century working with mid-tier businesses – entrepreneurial, private equity-backed and listed – across a wide range of industries. During this time, he was a member of PwC’s UK Mid-Tier leadership team for five years, helping shape the firm’s strategy and services to this important market.
His expertise spans audit, due diligence and capital markets, including IPO projects, with a strong track record of guiding businesses through complex transactions and growth journeys. Known for building long-standing, trusted relationships, Simon has consistently delivered value to clients by combining technical insight with a deep understanding of commercial drivers.
At Sedulo, Simon’s focus is on driving the growth of the group while building and leading the Birmingham office. His vision is to provide entrepreneurial and mid-tier businesses in the region with a partner that can combine big-firm experience with Sedulo’s dynamic, client-focused culture.
