Orla McKeon-Carter
Manager – Not-For-ProfitBased in our London office, Órla McKeon-Carter is a Manager in Sedulo’s Not for Profit team, bringing over a decade of experience in accounting and charity sector finance.
ACA-qualified since 2017, Órla specialises in Charity SORP and has worked extensively with organisations making a real difference in the community.
Her career has included transformative work at major charities. At Cancer Research UK, she delivered a retrospective review of a £300m+ fundraising portfolio to guide strategic investment decisions, and developed a robust cost recovery methodology with integrated finance system reporting. At the Refugee Council, she modernised the finance function by introducing new systems, streamlining processes, and creating specialist teams, transforming the finance experience for the organisation with enhanced reporting and financial controls.
Órla also sits on the trustee board of Young Citizens as their treasurer, scrutinising and advising on financial issues, driven by a passion to equip young people with the tools and opportunities to contribute and to shape our society.
